Swan Falls Float

We floated the Swan Falls to Walter's Ferry section of the Snake River yesterday. It was a great trip. The river is lower than the recommended level. It is best at 10K-17K cfs and it was at 7700 cfs yesterday. Some big rocks were showing and the rapids were more rapid.

Once the wind picked up, it became an endurance fest. The best thing to do is to float from Swan to Celebration park. The stretch between Celebration and Walter's Ferry is hard to do with a headwind.
